Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the improvements in the v12 upgrade with great interest recently. Unfortunately, the Directus Sandbox environment (https://sandbox.directus.com/) hasn’t been updated yet, so I still can’t test the new features. Does anyone know when the Sandbox will be updated, or why there hasn’t been an update yet?

We’re reviewing the future of the Sandbox as we look at better ways to let people explore Directus. So at this time, I wouldn’t recommend waiting on its update to try v12.
Instead, there are a couple of quick ways to test the new features:
- One-click deploy on Railway – This spins up your own hosted instance in a few minutes and is kept up to date with v12.
- Run it locally – If you have Docker, you can be up and running on the latest release in one command.
Both will give you a much better experience than the Sandbox, since you get full admin access rather than a shared environment.
