We’re preparing our setup so it may be easy to welcome new languages in the future. Hence, we have translate fields everywhere :
But for now, content will only be in one language and the interface can appear clumsy and confusing for people “why would I need to select a language?” Our customer might actually never add a new language btw.
As default language is set, is there a way we could just hide the language selector please?
I checked the css but I couldn’t find there any direct selectors. Another strategy maybe?

Heya! There’s no config for this, but it’s a great shoutout and something that should just work like that by default. When using the translations field with only one language, it shouldn’t be a dropdown. I’ll jot this down as a feature request on our end for future consideration. Thanks! 
Hey - thanks for the feedback - what’s the use case if you’re only utilizing a single language in your Directus instance?
While not showing the dropdown from a purely UX perspective makes sense, I’m wondering how the translations interface itself is proving value here (if not supporting multiple languages).
