Translated Pages - Individual Publishing Status

Hi there! I have a question that I hope you can help with.

I’ve noticed that the “published” status of a page appears to be global across all language versions. When I create a translation of a page, it seems to automatically be marked as published as well.

How can I handle situations where the original version (in the primary language) is ready to be published, but the translated versions are still a work in progress and shouldn’t go live yet?

Hello,

You can create a status field in the translations collection if you don’t already have one.
If it already exists, make sure it is visible.
When adding content for translations, set them to Draft, and set the primary language version to Published.
